Centerboard is a nonprofit human services organization located in downtown Lynn, MA and servicing the North Shore of Boston.
Our mission is to revitalize communities through its people and places.
We support families and young people through housing, access to employment, education and financial empowerment. Together, with help from donors like you, we have helped empower families and youth:
- 80 families on average are helped each month through the Family Resource Center.
- 95 percent of youth leave Centerboard with a savings account of at least $1,000.
- 92 families found permanent housing this year with the help of our housing department.
The Circle of Friends is a giving society for Centerboard’s most generous supporters. Individual and corporate donors will be welcomed into the society when they give $500 or more cumulatively.
Consider a monthly contribution of $42 to help families and youth directly within our communities.

Donor-Advised Funds
With the growing popularity of donor advised fund (DAF) accounts, the American public has clearly embraced the use of such generous accounts to express their philanthropy. A donor-advised fund provides a flexible way for donors to pass money through to nonprofit organizations—an alternative to direct giving or creating a private foundation. Centerboard Inc. is an IRS-qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
